Hello Millie
In all our travel conversations today, I forgot to tell you Angie's
God story.
Night before last (evening) Allen was with the girls someplace, I think
the school grounds and Michele stubbed her toe - real bad. Took a hunk
right off the end of it.
They decided (even without insurance) that she should probably go to
an urgent care clinic to see if she needed stitches. The first one was
closed but the security guard came to the door and referred them to
two others. The second one, because they had never been there before
they had to fill out paper work and pay $80 before she could see anyone.
The third one was going to close in 20 minutes but a real nice male,
Dr. like person, but probably a Physicans Assistant, came out to the
waiting room to look at it to see if they really needed stitches. He
cleaned the wound, put some anti-biotic cream on it, bandaged it and
said she probably didn't need stitches but needed to keep it clean and
change the bandages. He gave them the rest of the anti-biotic cream
and didn't charge a cent!!!!!!!!
On the way there, Angie told Michele to pray that it wasn't serious
or didn't cost too much because they have a high deductible insurance
and would have to pay for what ever it cost.
When they got there she assured her mother that she asked and was delighted
to affirm answered prayer! What a wonderful thing for a 10 year old
to experience!!!!!
